I've been building a small network of niche websites for a while now — long enough that "a couple of side projects" quietly turned into something with real traffic, real revenue, and real mistakes I've had to go back and fix. Up to now, all of that has happened pretty quietly. This blog is me deciding to stop being quiet about it.
Here's roughly what you'll find here, organized into four rough buckets:
- Updates — what actually shipped, this week or this month. Not every update is exciting. Some are just "fixed a bug that bothered me for a month."
- Feedback — what the data, or a reader, or reality had to say. Including the parts where I was wrong about something.
- Milestones — numbers worth pausing on, even small ones. The first time a site crosses 200 clicks deserves a sentence, even if it sounds silly to celebrate.
- Offers — every so often, someone reaches out about buying a site, or some kind of partnership. When that happens, I'll write about it as it's actually unfolding, not dress it up after the fact.
If you want the fuller version of why I'm doing any of this, there's a longer About page for that. If you'd rather just see the actual sites this whole blog is about, here's a quick tour of a few of them.
Either way — glad you're here for the start of this.
