Short and plain, because this is a small blog, not a data business.

If you use the contact form, I get your name, email address and your message. It's sent to me by email and isn't stored on this site or shared with anyone else. I use your address only to reply.
The reply form at the end of a post sends me your name (if you give one) and your message by email. Replies aren't posted publicly or stored on the site.
If you subscribe, I store your email address, the date you signed up and the page you signed up from (for example, the post you were reading). The list is kept in a private file on the server, outside the public website, and isn't shared with or sold to anyone. To prevent abuse, the sign-up form briefly keeps a one-way scrambled version of your IP address to limit repeated sign-ups; it's deleted automatically after an hour. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or sending me a message, and I'll remove your address.
When you vote in a poll, the site adds one to that answer's count. It doesn't record who voted. A small cookie (gs_voted_ followed by the post name) remembers that your browser already voted, so you see the results instead of voting twice.
GardySpace uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which posts and pages people actually read, and which product links and sign-up forms get used. Google Analytics records things like the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that sent you, and your approximate location and device type. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. GardySpace doesn’t use this data to build an advertising profile of you, and doesn’t sell it. To opt out, block cookies for this site in your browser or install Google’s opt-out add-on.
_ga and _ga_ followed by an ID: set by Google Analytics to tell new visits from returning ones.gs_lang: remembers the language you chose.gs_voted_ followed by a post name: remembers that you voted in that post’s poll.GardySpace sets no advertising cookies. If that changes, this page will say so.
Products are sold by IGNE Publishing, LLC through the shop at ignepublishing.com. Links to the shop carry a tag that shows a click came from GardySpace. Payment and order details are handled there, under that site’s own policies, not by GardySpace.
You can ask me what I hold about you, or ask me to delete it, through the contact form. I’ll answer from contact@gardyspace.com.
If anything here is unclear, just ask.
