Small win: PayLaterProfit just crossed 200 clicks

Doesn't sound like much, I know. But three months ago this thing was sitting at zero, and I almost killed the whole BNPL-arbitrage angle before it found its legs.

Okay, small win today: PayLaterProfit crossed 200 organic clicks this month. Doesn't sound like much, I know — but three months ago this thing was sitting at zero, and I almost killed the whole BNPL-arbitrage angle before it found its legs.

Here's what actually happened. The site started as a pretty generic "here's how buy-now-pay-later works" content play. Fine, but forgettable — there are a hundred sites explaining what Afterpay is. Nothing about it made someone bookmark the page.

The shift was narrowing hard into one specific, weird-sounding idea: use BNPL apps to fund retail arbitrage flips. Buy something on Afterpay, resell it before the first payment's even due, keep the margin. That's a much smaller audience than "what is buy now pay later" — but it's a real audience, and they actually want the thing I'm making.

The other piece that mattered more than I expected: publishing the actual numbers. Not "you could make $X/month" — the real, boring, sometimes-negative monthly totals. One month the margin straight up shrank compared to the month before, and I wrote about exactly why instead of quietly not mentioning it. I think that's part of why people stuck around.

Anyway. 200 clicks. Onward.
